The night of the Pulse was always a loud one in Cirrane, but this was the loudest it had ever been; the fact that half of the towns population would be made up of tourists wouldn't help. Why'd they have to do the parade here, there weren't many hotels. I begin to walk to my friend Harune's place the skyscrapers from the central city getting shorter and fading into standard brick one or two story buildings. Harune's potion shop has one of the best views of the pulse in the entire city. The large, vast kingdom in which Cirrane resides, the Kingdom hosts a parade every 5 years, in order to honor an event in which the stars in the night sky pulse becoming brighter and then darker over the course of several hours, before seeming to blink out of existence completely, and then shine brighter than before, for the young and old it can be slightly dangerous to look at the stars when they shine their brightest, as it can damage their eyes, The parade occurs in a different city each time it happens <div id="centerallign"> ---- <<button [[go back to the game|$return]] >><</button>> [[Go back to the codex hub|Codex]] </div>

The parade happens every 5 years it happens in a different city every time, the parade starts at 11:30 pm and ends at about the same time as the pulse, 1 am. The parade is something that all can contribute too. Harune was my best friend before I got arrested, I really hope their doing well right now. I nod and prop myself up on the wall as the ship bumps against the dock. I can hear loud footsteps outside, I cross to the otherside of the ship and look out one of the cannon holes, I see a group of people aproching the ship as crewmembers begin to get off. One of the aproching people speaks, their voice is hushed, yet deep and commanding still, but I think I hear them say "You are not authorized to dock here. What is your buisness here?" A familliar, warm voice, that of the captain's confidently responds "We are just looking for a crew of people who are willing to go on a," he pauses, presumably thinking, "a treasure hunt of sorts." I begin to get worried, the captain was cursed to never be able to tell a lie a long time ago. If one of the other group asks too much we may not be able to continue with this plot. The deep voiced individual speaks again "Where exactly is this treasure hunt going to take?" The captain responds "A couple hundred miles north of the capital" "There's nothing out there, why would you search there?" "I found intel that a ship that was supposed to deliver riches to the capital crashed there about a decade ago." There aren't any shows at the theater during the day, but I decide to walk over anyway. The theater is empty save for a few people minding their buisness reading, taking phonecalls, drawing, stuff like that, I'd rather not bother them. I step into the deli and notice that there is an ajoining coffee shop in the same building. I walk over to the news stand and see that the paper today is all about how to get good seats for the parade, I'm not suprised to see that none have sold. I notice one paper that looks different the headlien reads "Why does the Pulse only happen in Abeca kingdom" I grab the paper and begin to read it, it looks interesting so I find a spot to sit. The paper presents a few different possible ideas about the pulse. 1. The Pulse is made by a past king to distract citizens from any number of various activities, also the least likely to be true 2. The Pulse is manipulated to happen slower so the stars shine brighter, somewhat likely to be true 3. I walk into the police office and see the group of people who confrounted us at the docks. I can faintly hear a conversation "Do you think that new ship is after the vault?" "I don't think so, I recognise that captain, they were cursed to never be able to lie." "But we heard that the group after the vault would be here, today." You feel eyes on you from somewhere below you, a voice rings between your ears, "You, stop messing with my life." I quickly get back to what I was doing` or smth to that effect. section w/ harune looking into their diary and then the screen glitches Komorebi-esq, but the passage still has text on it thats just under some cypher that reveals lore shid/ Harune finds pc2's diary if they don't find pc2 in part3 Ex: ` yeht eveileb os raf ` cypher was just each word is spelt backwords, but you get the idea Romantic scene w/ Harune and pc1 if pc1 has gotten all the love points possible Ayrith as either somebody's name or a town name. a heritage system a la wayfarer introduced in p4 p4 takes place in pc1's childhood add stuff in pc1's childhood room in p4 based on choics made in p1

Right before the door closes I quickly make it through the door without the cop noticing. I quickly spot the cop walking down the hall to what I can only guess is the barracks for the station. The back room, or hallway I suppose is painted a light beige in stark contrast to the waiting rooms navy blue colored walls. I quietly follow the cop into the barracks, which are painted a darker, almost brown beige, and filled with dark green bunk beds that don't look strong enough to hold a small dog. The cop goes through another locked door, and it closes before I can even think about following him through it. I open up the nearest dusty bag, it contains a radio, a phone, and family photo; upon seeing the family photo I take a closer look at the bag, there's a thing taped to the strap that starts: "In loving memory..."
